Among the available readings, I selected the two that I found the most interesting. The Denial post by Faraci is the first of them, and I chose this reading because it focuses on COVID-19, the most crucial topic in the present world. The author explicitly described how she became aware of the coronavirus and why she tended to ignore bad news. I find this article appealing because it seems to me that many people shared the same thoughts when the pandemic was approaching. The author highlights that it is necessary to evaluate facts and not ignore information because it is terrible. The second reading Just a regular shift… presents a description of a nurse’s regular shift.
