In Storm Writes to Black Panther, the writer thinks it best to remind members of the Black Panther what it meant to love, to have gone through the oppression of slavery, and to win the war.
However, Storm also reminds the members what it meant to be free from the continent he misses. He says, “we were not mutants or black or African, but the distillation of spirits.” Even as the members enjoy what they have achieved, they should never forget where they come from.
