King of Uruk is claimed to be the wisest man familiar with secrets and mysteries. Furthermore, he was gifted with the perfect body, “Shamash the glorious sun endowed him with beauty, Adad the god of the storm endowed him with courage, the great gods made his beauty perfect, surpassing all other.” However, Gilgamesh was unique as he was not wholly a superior creature, only two-thirds of god, while the other part of the king was human.
