The partnering strategy would allow the case study company to gain access to local expertise, both within the technological and the business field. It is also one of the most flexible options, and the parties in question could decide what would be mutually beneficial for them and not compromise their individual interests. A joint venture lacks the expertise of the partner available but puts both sides in the same power category from the standpoint of being outsiders to the market.
