The American dream is the idea of inspiration by opportunity and achievement. The director deliberates on the subject. The movie criticizes the stereotype. The director depicts the unhappy life of a reach person. Kane is reach and powerful. In spite of that, the protagonist is bitter and resentful. Strive for money is defined as undesirable. It leads Kane to failure.
