By stating that “this is the best of all possible worlds,” Leibniz outlines the fact that God’s creations are imperfect. Thus, they make mistakes. Leibniz asserts that people need to appreciate the perfect nature of God’s creation and understand that the evil acts come from the imperfect side of his creation. The mistakes made are what Leibniz considers as evil and emanate from the imperfect nature of God’s creations. My disagreement with Leibniz transpires because Leibniz leaves a wide spectrum of thinking and fails to answer his assertions for readers to comprehend.
