Many Americans today face diverse ethnic and racial conflicts, such as racial discrimination in public resources and the criminal justice system. The good thing is that the strategies different activists used during the Civil Rights Movement era are capable of tackling such problems. This is true since nonviolent protests, speeches, and civil disobedience can compel political leaders to implement appropriate laws that are capable of minimizing such disagreements. When people unite against injustice, chances are high that they will achieve their potential by compelling those in leadership positions to address them.
