Humans are biased against certain animals since they can discriminate against animals that do not belong to a particular species. Peter Singer drew the phenomenon of Speciesism from the ideology that it is categorical that humans are way better than animals. However, the term speciesism can be compared to sexism and racism, which Richard Ryder claimed in the 1970s. All the ideologies from the phenomenon pointed directly to the inferior group, for instance, black people who were disregarded unreasonably. The term claimed that a general attitude that grew to discriminate against the inferior group prevailed towards non-human animals, just like how black people and women faced general hostility.
