It is highly essential to note that Public Health Nursing (PHN) appears to be an interdisciplinary practice that involves the research of professionals from distinctive majors. Therefore, there is a possibility to encounter a conflict of interests between two different representatives of particular fields which may lead to stagnation or degradation of PHN in general. According to Dahl and Crawford, some of the most crucial points to acknowledge in this area are Competence and Recognition. One of the ways to prevent these conflicts from becoming widespread is to have “a mutual understanding’s competencies a fruitful interprofessional collaboration in the best interest of the service user can develop.” Furthermore, “doing tasks outside their main working area,” made some professionals felt ignored, and it would be essential to avert the state of “being taking advantage of, and not being valued for their competence.”
