While studying literature, I realized that there are different types of grief. Grief can be mild or complicated and include long periods of recovery, as well as symptoms such as loss of hope and recurring reminiscences. Also, there are different stages of grief, including denial, anger, and others. The status of the person who dies is also of significant importance since he can be a parent, child, friend, or someone else for the suffering. Personally, I think that it is impossible to fully prepare for grief from the loss of loved ones since, in most cases, these are unexpected, abrupt, and psychologically traumatic events.
Nevertheless, I am sure that the attitude towards death in this situation can act as great support. This is due to the fact that depending on whether a person believes that death is bad or is a transition to another, better life, his attitude toward the loss of loved ones can change. Therefore, if I were thinking about how to prepare myself personally and prepare my loved ones for a possible loss, I would discuss precisely the aspect of perceiving death as a non-negative event.
