With aging, perhaps, I will reduce the workload and switch to part-time. However, similarly to 40% of Americans, I plan that after 65 years old, I will still be working. I think that mental and physical activity is important to me, and work is an opportunity to combine employment and income. In preparation for retirement, I will first need to make sure that I have the financial ability to support myself.
With aging, health and other costs may require additional investment. Therefore, before retirement, I plan to ensure that I have my own home, insurance, and retirement benefits. Such preparedness will allow me to retire in a comfortable environment for living and doing business with respect to personal preferences at about 70 years old.
By the age of 65, my family will be my greatest value and asset. For me, a mandatory plan is to have children and grandchildren by this age. After retirement, I find it interesting and engaging to spend time with children, teach them, and take care of their upbringing. In addition, I plan to continue an active lifestyle, including travel, physical activity, reading books, and much more.
