Attention span is the duration at which a child can concentrate on the assigned activity or object or engage in a particular task without shifting the attention to other things. Experts in early childhood typically recommend that a children’s attention span be two to three minutes every year of maturity. That is how long an average kid can stay focused on a single activity.
