You are Tweety Bird. Seemingly innocent and put upon by the savage Sylvesters of this world, you not only survive, but you are also capable of giving back double what the world gives you. You are a survivor. Examine the nature of other characters like yourself who beat the system. Is there a price to be paid for this-like living in a cage?

In this world of power, money, and technological supremacy, one needs the freshness of innocence and sensitivity to balance the mechanical and superficial social order. This is not weakness, as it may appear from the outer surface. This is truly the presence of strength of inner integrity, which is not overcast by the outward shine. This has been there from timeless memories of social existence. A survivor lives through the same situation in which others lie, but their attitude and response to the life situation are positive and compassionate. This is what makes them be the bearer of the light, as he pr she sails through similar turbulences without contempt or malice, with hope to redeem those who are lost.

This light is seen in the character of Isadora in “Middle Passage” by Charles Johnson. Isadora is the complete contrast of the character of Rutherford Calhoun in the novel. She is honest and hard-working and holds a steady and reputable position as a school teacher. She is kind and sympathetic towards cats, dogs, and injured or hurt beings. She is very patient and accepting towards Rutherford and tries her level best to give him a chance to reshape his course of life, and proposes to settle down with him in marriage, if he may consent to a more balanced and disciplined life. She is used by Rutherford, who declines her proposal to settle down, admitting that he is untamable and too adventurous to settle down in one relationship with a woman.

This aspect of literature is also seen in the sensitive and intricate portrayal of Alma, the fourteen-year-old, who carries the history of love on her shoulder as she has been named after a character in the book, and her identity and her life are intertwined with the influences which are the key factor in moving the story forward with humor, depth, and unity which crosses the timeless boundaries of love. In The History of Love, written by Nicole Krauss, the narrator, Alma singer, is a similar character who projects the spirit of survival, and many parts of the story are presented in her voice. Her connection with the book retraces the warmth shared between her father and mother, who had deep feelings for the book, based on the female protagonist of which, Alma Singer is named Alma. The journey of the book from the holocaust region to Chile with Spanish translation reveals the timelessness of love. This young girl, whose name resonates with the power of original love between two protagonists Alma and Leo, is the voice that retraces the journey and presents the art of survival from the holocaust to a more normal life. It is her journey to connect with something which helps her survive in the wild and face the uncertainties of life. The journey from Poland to Chile is an extraordinary one with tales of survival.

This truly cannot be called living in a cage, but yes, this journey has its own rewards, which are more than material. It is nurtured through the weight of the bonding relationships. It is this bonding that helps cross the ocean of struggle and come out a survivor. The price for this kind of living is so deep that it cannot be measured in terms of material and physical gains or losses. The mystery of the vanished book, coming alive with the introduction from a character named after the book, adds a real touch of romantic mystery, which is associated with love. This message of survivor is faith in love. This is true always and every time.

The literature is very effectively used to describe different world regions and time periods to class the characteristic which makes survivor out of soft and gentle character; their strength is the inner strength of positive traits like love, faith, and conviction.
