Write an explanation describing the composition of a gram+ cell.

A gram+ cell lacks an outer membrane and has a thicker peptidoglycan (PG) cell wall. As a result, the PG layer of a gram+ cell is exposed to the external environment and includes additional structural components, such as wall teichoic acids and mycolic acids. Additionally, a gram+ cell has circumferentially oriented glycan strands.
