Pick an instance of organizational deviance took place in the past five years and use cultural approach to analyze this organizational deviance.

One of the recent examples of organizational deviance is found in Activision Blizzard, which has been at the forefront of public attention since July 2021. The company is accused by numerous female employees of promoting a “frat-boy culture”, engaging in numerous acts of sexual harassment, promoting unequal pay, and withholding women from promotions, as well as causing the suicide of one of the female employees during a company trip.

This is not the only example of a corrosive male-dominated corporate culture, which stems from inherent inequality between men and women permeating American society. The ethical implications of such a culture are disturbing, as it promotes harassment and inequality as the natural order of things, to be accepted by others as the status quo.
