I would recommend this production due to the use of stage and music. Violet’s daydreaming is featured in a distant place as if it is always beyond her daily routine but is constantly haunting her. The music of the play is also remarkable as the story is told through emotional rhythms and tunes. The use of religious chants is also beneficial for the play as it makes it feel real.

I would not recommend this play, however, to those who expect excellent sound and light. Light is often utilized ineffectively as the emphasis is put on irrelevant things. The scene where Violet is playing with the soldiers and her father is illustrative as the light does not emphasize Violet’s memories. Sound is rather frustrating as some voices are too loud while some voices and music are barely heard.
