Joining the Continental Army in September 1776

Being a young 17-year-old male in 1776, convince your parents to allow you to join the Continental Army.

It’s September 1776, and the declaration of independence has just been read in your town. As a young 17-year-old male, you have decided to join Washington and the Continental Army. But your parents, whom you live with, have forbidden you from joining the Continental Army. They believe the colonies will lose this rebellion and do not want you to suffer the consequences. You now have to convince them to allow you to join the Continental Army and Convince them that the colonies, or rather, the United States, will win their independence.
