In my opinion, a corporation is a moral agent. Like a moral being, the corporation has the ability to do right or wrong. Therefore, if a being is presumed to be a moral agent, it must be held responsible for its doings. Given that organizations in our country are held accountable for their deeds, it can be argued that they are moral agents. Similarly, a corporation is a moral agent because for it to come up with choices concerning justice and reactions to these choices, it must exist among communities or societies that upheld moral rights.

The advantage of this issue is that organizations will be liable for their acts. The disadvantage of this notion is that if an organization is set up in a region with no moral rights, it will behave unethically because it will be unable to come up with choices with respect to other rights. One of the organizations trying to be a moral agent is the Seven Pillars Institute. The organization is an autonomous, nonprofit, impartial company aimed at focusing on and assessing moral attitudes in global finance. Through this, the organization plans to improve moral practice and policy.
