Implementation of Government Policy
Employment law aims at ensuring the implementation of government policy, too. It means that it protects the employment rights individuals have according to the country’s laws. For instance, a pregnant employee in the United Kingdom cannot be deprived of maternity leave, as it is one of the policies the government has.
