Does the Tucson data mining project inappropriately violate the privacy of Internet users? Or is it an acceptable tradeoff to more intelligently combat terrorism? Please explain why you think so.

I think the Tucson data mining project inappropriately violates the privacy of internet users. The new technology cannot combat terrorism effectively due to the everyday evolution of technology, and many people communicate through pseudonyms or anonymous names, and it can be difficult to find the exact accurate information of an individual. The system relies on the graphical representation of an individual, which is generated by machines, and users can easily beat the system by creating fake accounts and relaying encrypted information.
