Created by David Gow in 2007, the iLIMB bionic hand was the world’s first artificial limb with five separate mechanical fingers. Users of the device will be able to pick up objects of various shapes. iLIMB consists of 3 separate parts: 4 fingers, a thumb, and a palm; each containing a control system. This invention will make many patients’ life and daily activities easier.
