A first mover in the service industry is different from those in the manufacturing industry in terms of operational costs. Service industry fast movers spend a lot on marketing and building infrastructure for the delivery of services. While on the other hand, manufacturing companies spend money on the production of goods to be sold. Fast-moving service industry companies cannot outsource their services, as is in the case with manufacturing companies where this practice is common.
