Ten smoking participants were taken from the UK while eleven smokers from Greece to have a comparison of smoking-related health issues and individualistic reactionary attitudes towards social displeasure. The smoking participants of both countries were well-educated and young professionals in order to examine all illnesses related to smoking. The main purpose of the recruitment of participants from both different social sectors is to analyse the differences in both groups’ social responses to smoking disapproval.
