The short video devoted to the topic presents many student behavioral issues that prevent students from becoming successful healthcare specialists if they occur systematically. The cases of student misconduct presented in the video include chatting during lectures, playing games, listening to music, being late, and clownery. To put it in other words, all problems mentioned in the video indicate students’ unwillingness to respect the system of seniority in their educational institution.

Although students from the video make numerous mistakes, a large part of the responsibility lies on the shoulders of their instructor, who fails to clarify the rules of conduct and prevent further misbehavior. To positively contribute to learning and respond to student misconduct, the instructor should implement the following recommendations: ensure student engagement, inform students about the rules of conduct, and use instructional time effectively. First, organizing effective lessons is easier when all students know their rights and responsibilities in the classroom. To ensure student engagement, the instructor from the video should have a dialogue with the class, encouraging students to answer questions and solve issues. More than that, study materials and presentations should not be difficult to perceive. Thus, it would be better to restructure the presentation to make the slides more readable and uncluttered. As for the proper use of class time, the teacher from the video should avoid discussing students’ personal problems in public. It is both unethical and detrimental to students’ knowledge level. In the end, teachers (if they care about the future of their students) should regard lesson time and an opportunity to contribute to people’s personal and professional development as precious resources.
