This situation could have been avoided if the police officer had communicated with the girl’s parents. He could explain to them that there are specific rules at school, as in any other institution and public place, violation of which is not allowed. Moreover, he needed to encourage parents to talk to their daughter about her behavior. There is probably a reason for such behavior, and this reason needs to be solved while the daughter expresses her attitude to these problems in such an almost harmless form. Students who exhibit deviant behavior destabilize educational processes. In addition, it was possible to talk to the girl herself and try to find out with the help of psychological techniques what contributes to this kind of behavior.
I agree with the point of view of the first student that the police officer did not need to apply much force to restrain the child. I don’t think that a girl will drop out of school because of this situation, but such an attitude can label a child. I also agree with the opinion of the second student that if adults see a child’s bad behavior, they have the opportunity to talk to their parents and resolve the issue. In addition, the second student offered a good option that the police officer needed to call colleagues and clarify how to behave in this case.
