War and conflicts are situations that pose threats and lead to the destruction of relationships within states. Wars usually occur due to fighting over resources, such as mineral resources, or religious conflicts, and territories. This usually leads to unending violence and bloodshed. Most conflicts are usually motivated by ideological changes. Poverty, social, political, and economic differences amongst groups influence conflict. The results of war and conflict have been a loss of lives, social ties, and economic destruction. The wars in Iraq and Afghanistan were unjust wars. The fall and overthrowing of Saddam were not considered by the Bush Administration. However, when leading the war, President Bush made some resolutions. Saddam was considered evil, and a resolution had to be enforced to liberate the Iraqi people. President Bush’s idea was self-defense since the presence of Al Qaeda and Al Qaeda’s sympathizers in Iraq posed a threat to the United States.
