A Legal Case as the Subject of the Case Study

Discuss a legal case or a real-life person as the subject of your case study (either way, the subject must be an actual subject! You can change names if there are concerns about confidentiality).

To answer the question, you should spend some time summarizing the case (legal or actual person) and identifying the relevant issues or problems that the case presents. Then, you should use empirical research to discuss the issues or problems that you think the case represents. You may find legal cases online using Westlaw or LexisNexis. You may find actual cases through your life experiences, online, or someone you know (as long as you have enough information to write a meaningful paper). The bulk of your paper, however, should be the background literature review.
