In order to make clear to students that their hard work does not go unnoticed, I will reward them, students, with tangible rewards. I will ask one of the volunteering students who actively participated in the class to summarize the learned material at the end of the class and gift them with appraisal tickets. Using students to model ideal behavior can lead to negative consequences, such as students starting to compare themselves to their peers. On the other hand, giving the students a chance to earn appraisal eliminates the opportunity for unfair or biased attitudes towards students.
