Why might it not be in America’s interest to be too much involved with Europe? What might be the results of overinvolvement?

Washington, The then-president accented that interests in Europe and the United States were different. That is, when European countries fought for supremacy on the continent against the United States, it was not significant since the state did not need to begin wars and conflicts without a valid reason. Thus, for Americans, the prosperity of their own state in the contingent prevails, rather than the struggle for the aspirations of other countries that have nothing to do with the United States policy.

As a result of excessive involvement in European affairs, the United States would be involved in a conflict situation between states. Accordingly, the state would not have enough funds and an army to become part of the war without private interests. Instead, the United States needed to develop its own state and economy.
