Berkeley denies the existence of material objects because he believes that such objects exist only in the mind of perceivers. In other words, material objects cannot exist without being perceived in the first place. This approach underscores the doctrine of subjective idealism, which denies the existence of materials objects outside the mind. Ordinary experiences shape our reality based on what we can perceive. I reject this theory because it limits our knowledge to our subjective experiences, which cannot be used to understand the complex human existence.
