It is correct to believe that the mother is responsible for the deaths of her children. It was her direct duty to take care of children, their health, well-being, and education. She had to take some steps to be heard by the government and obtain some help. Still, she is not the only one who may be accountable for the accident. The government (especially the CFSA) did not do enough to make sure that all American families receive enough help and support.
Sometimes, families cannot ask for help because of personal reasons or medical conditions. Public managers and agencies have a responsibility to protect, schools have to support, and even neighbors could change the event’s outcome. A lack of resources, laziness, poor organization and neglect caused this situation. Still, the role of the CFSA and its failure in saving girls’ lives remains critical.
