Who has benefited from the belief that we can sort people according to race and that there are natural or biologically based differences between racial groups?

Historical aspects have to be taken into account in analyzing the benefits of race definition.

First of all, it was profitable for the European conquerors in Africa and America.

Secondly, a “legal” argument was needed to explain why some human beings have to work for twelve hours and others – only to control this process.

Finally, in the 21st century, race definition is beneficial for tourist and sports industries as it helps to increase the income in these fields by dividing people into several groups.
