When it comes to medical care how do deontologists differ from consequentialists regarding the availability of an expensive medicine or medical procedure to the public?

In contrast to the consequentialist perspective, the deontological view on the availability of expensive medicine and new treatments does not usually justify the means needed to achieve the desired outcomes. Deontology is patient-centered; therefore, expensive medicine and medical procedures are not perceived well because not all people can afford such treatments.
