What you need for entering Massachusetts Institute of Technology?
I have decided to go to MIT.
My average high school grade is about 3.5.
Will they accept me?
What are their requirements?
First of all, the grade must be 4.0 or more, then you’ll be accepted.
And secondly, you need to outstand amidst the others.
Try to get as better grades as you can, and then pass the admission test well.
These are the two things that are the most important.
The results of the American College Test must be excellent.
Otherwise, nothing will help a person with the grades like yours.
Massachusetts Institute of Technology is in the top of the most recognized engeneering institutes worldwide. MIT community consists of the enthusiastic and excellent minds from around the globe.
The majority of the high school graduates simply fail to get in there, and no matter how high your GPA and the various tests resuls are, you cannot be accepted to MIT until you are extraordinary.
True to say, this institute looks for the exceptional students.
Do your best in as much classes as possible. You have to be the best in your school because passing through just one course at MIT equals to at leat five high school graduations. Be involved in scence and technology classes and do it for fun rather than a burden. You have to work without a single break. Every bit of information must be absorbed.
And approach it like it is your hobby, take extra classes for pleasure. Get the highest scores in all the tests like (Preliminary) Scholastic Aptitute Test, and Academic College Test. You have to be prepared for the admission even before the high school graduation.
Each of the advancement placement classes in your school must be taken and remember that the high school AP is nothing in MIT and it doesn’t garantee even thelowest throughput scores. Everything mentioned constitutes the way for the MIT admission that is based on my personal experience.
You can’t rely merely on GPA. Some kind of research or a specific knowledge and experience, i.e. programming/science, would be helpful there.
