Through transpiration water flow, plants are capable of lowering tissue and cell temperature, which have been occasioned by intense heating of the environment. The very plants absorb water from the soil, which not only supports their life but also assists in the process of the water cycle. When plants are exposed to heat radiation from the sun, the only option to dissipate that heat is through transpiration. On the other hand, terrestrial water evaporation facilitates the movement of water from and surfaces back to the atmosphere. Whereas transpiration water flux cools the plant, evaporation water flux may be very important, especially in eliminating the excess amount of water from terrestrial surfaces. In both processes, though, plants play a very important role in the global water cycle bearing in mind that the amount of moisture lost through plants is over and above that lost from bare land surfaces.
