It is said that “a change is as good as a rest,” however, this is just a simple statement meant to prepare the mind to embrace it. The idea of change is in itself scary; change can be either good or bad. Change is a manifestation of how the future shall be. Thus, it is characterized by unpredictability and uncontrollability. However, good the future a change presents may be, it is never better than the present. This is because one has already learned how to deal with his/her current conditions, and none is confident enough with a change that he hasn’t yet experienced.
On the other hand, the idea of change can represent better things. This is mostly when the present looms with misfortunes that people are willing to resign from.
