Norm-referenced test pertains to normalized tests that are intended to contrast and grade test-takers in comparison to one another. For example, it would reflect how many fewer or more correct answers a test taker gave compared to other test takers. On the other hand, criterion-referenced tests outcomes are founded on the number of correct answers given by the test taker. It is expressed as the percentage of the sum of correct answers.
