What is the difference between deviance and crime?

Crime is a form of deviant behavior to the extent of violating social laws. Unlike deviance, crime relates to violating the laws in a constitution or a government, while deviance involves violating society’s rules, norms, and convictions.

Crime is the same for a certain region or country, while deviance may differ from one society to another. Crime has documentation available for dealing with those who violate them, while deviance does not have documentation. The form of punishment for crimes is done by a judicial system, while for deviance, one may only face a negative image in society.
