The term community policing means involving citizens in joint activities with the police. The Public Security Police deals with the issues of ensuring the safety of citizens, public security, protection of property, public order, detection, prevention and suppression of crimes and administrative offenses, and disclosure of crimes.
Community policing is based on the interaction of citizens with the police and is an activity coordinated by the goals, place, time of the use of forces, and means to achieve legitimate objectives.
Its relevance as regards serving the community lies in the fact that as a result of interaction between government agencies and ordinary citizens, the importance and capabilities of civil society in matters of law enforcement and public safety increase.
This form is characterized by the improvement of various forms of police activity, the rapprochement of the population and the police, and the establishment of close contacts with other executive bodies and public associations.
