What is an organic molecule?

An organic molecule is a molecule that has hydrogen atoms and carbon atoms in its structure. It should be notedthat the combinatory presence of both carbon and hydrogen is needed to make a molecule an organic one. All forms of organisms are comprised of organic molecules, which is why they are sometimes referred to as biological molecules. In addition, a carbon atom is unique since it can form four bonds with both itself and other substances, making it a core skeleton of organic compounds.
