Along with ordinary people who exhibit civic activity, there are also individuals for whom reporting a violation is a professional duty. Persons who are obliged by law to report suspected incidents of child abuse or maltreatment to protective organizations and agencies when they are suspected or revealed are known as mandated reporters.
