There can be a conflict between personal moral views and ethics policy accepted in the organization. Under these conditions, several factors should be considered.
First, it is critical to ensure that ethical standards established by the company are consistent and contribute to the further evolution of a particular group of people or promote the improvement of the quality of others’ lives.
Second, my own motivation should also be analyzed. Finally, my moral reasoning should be logical. Consideration of all these factors might help to make an appropriate choice and act. However, disregarding personal moral values and beliefs might be challenging for individuals as it contradicts their perspectives on ethics and relations with people. For this reason, if the moral reasoning and motivation remain ethical, a person should leave an organization because of the radical difference in points of view on appropriate behavior and actions.
