This is one of the most useful commands for different individuals who use the same computer because of the many usernames used in the Linux virtual machine. These commands enable the user of the virtual machine to determine their username. It is also useful when the user wants to know more about the computer they are using. The command also allows the user to share a terminal with other trusted users and identify all the current users logged into the terminal, making it easy to contact all the people who have currently logged in to the terminal.
