Depending on the current state of the market for my job, such an experience could have a devastating effect on me. Being unable to find a new job immediately, I would have to rely on governmental support and feel useless and redundant. People invest years of their lives into developing highly specific skills that put their efficiency above others.

Jobs are not merely a source of money, as it is the way to progress society as a whole. Through their occupations, like-minded people find each other and work on new innovative solutions that can benefit society or at least some of its parts. It is absolutely critical for everyone to realize that the ideal goal for each occupation is to assist society in improving people’s lives.
