What are your thoughts on Descartes’ Mind and Body Dualism?

I think that it cannot be true in the most literal sense, with the brain being ultimately an organ within the body. At the same time, the consciousness, personality and other non-tangible unique things are definitely varying from a person to a person, and are not dependenton their bodies. Overall, I think that although this concept hardly has a place outside of philosophy, it is widely applicable within it.
