What are the possible options for the college payment?
I’m in high school and I have no ideas about how the students can ever afford college.
I have read about the scholarships.
But if you don’t get one what should you do?
Do all the students work along with studying?
The students can qualify for the FA. You need to fill the FA online form when you start to send your college applications. There are different kinds of FA: some consist of the grant from your state administration, and the others include the financial support by the government. It depends on your financial situation and some other aspects.
Your payment can be different as well: gradual or post-graduation. Although the amount of aid sometimes doesn’t cover the education cost completely, you will have a greater chance to pay the rest of the amount by yourself.
It’s better to start saving money for college now.
Later, you can participate in work-study program as well.
My suggestion is the Community College.
It is cheaper than the private schools and you can always choose the one that is nearest to your home.
You’ll save on transportation and living costs.
Some colleges provide the financial support according to their academic and creative capabilities.
It is called a merit-based aid. It is not dependent on your finance.
The private organizations and otheroutside sources can assist you in this.
I had the same situation in the past. I was recruited in army, and the government helped me to cover my education expenses. I also work part-time job and saved money but I didn’t use it to pay for college.
My government grant has covered everything.
It works only for military though.
If you really want to get a degree you will find a lot of methods to achieve your goal.
For instance, my daughter attended the evening courses and worked in the daytime.
She had the excellent grades and has graduated successfully.
