What are “journal articles” and “peer review”?

Journal articles are the secondary sources of evidence and supply points of professional and scientific knowledge. From the literal perspective, a journal article is a paper that has been published in a body of works created by other researchers.

Peer review means a process in which intellectuals that are proficient in a certain area of study examine the work that is submitted for publication in a journal. Peer-reviewed journals are valued among scientific societies due to the reliability of the information found in them. Conversely, the articles that were peer-reviewed with a high degree of certainty will contain quality evidence and bias-free research.
