What are David Hume’s arguments against induction and against cause and effect?

A

Hume argued that everything which can be perceived exists. In his view, all objects and ideas exist through people’s perceptions. One of the most interesting ideas the philosopher provided is that there is no causation. The philosopher proves that there is no cause and an effect. However, there are two events that happen together. For me, this view is rather inconsistent as causation has been proven by loads of experiments, and events do not simply take place at a certain time. For me, one event often causes another.
