Sinclair Knight Merz (SKM) and Jacobs New Zealand Diversity Committee have put an immense amount of work and effort into supporting workplace diversity. Providing equal pay, benefits, and flexible working opportunities to all employees enhances their well-being and improves the overall productivity of the organization. However, while the research provides sufficient proof concerning the positive impact of diversity on business, it is not always evident how to measure it.

One of the methods to achieve this goal is to compare the performance of the business with the competitors in the industry, which are less diversity-oriented. Another strategy is to contrast the productivity individual of employees with their previous records when the team composition was not as diverse. While there is a large number of factors involved, the comparison might reveal the basic tendencies and impact of diversity on the overall performance of the business.
