The information from this TED talk can be applied in a variety of ways during my professional interactions with children with exceptionalities. I want to change my practice from compassion to motivation because empathy is usually the first thing a person expresses in relation to a child with a disability. My goal is to create an environment where children have equal opportunities and never feel deprived of something.
